Rachel Lacy, York's Ghostfinder General, is often asked which IS the most haunted building in York. Rather than make a difficult choice, instead we now have the Spirit Level: report your ghosts here and we'll add them to the list!

Hauntings which involve multiple ghosts but are always seen as a group are counted as one haunting. If its not certain that they are linked or possibly the same haunting in different guises, they have been given the benefit of the doubt and counted separately.
